Save The Motherhood Movement
Motherhood is a state of a woman's life when she requires physical as well mental health. In large section of our society, the females can't afford to get proper nutrition especially during pregnancy. This results in anaemia and malnutrition, which results in poor health of mother, new-born child, complications in pregnancy and post-delivery complications in both mother and child. Param Shakti Peeth organizes free medical camps to address the issue of anaemia under the expert guidance of qualified doctors. Many women in poorer sections of society are unaware of importance of hygiene during menstruation cycles. To create awareness on the issue, trained social workers interact with such women and provide bio-degradable sanitary pads called Vatsalya Suraksha free of cost. At Vatsalyagram Vrindavan, we have attempted to eliminate the need of orphanages, women shelter homes and old age homes by giving these people Homes they call their own.
