Economic self dependence is the key to the development of women in our society. It not only provides them the security for their future but also contributes towards economic development of the country.
A beginning has been made by starting professional training for the tribal girls and women in Cottage Industries and help them to settle in their own areas with the responsibility to spearhead the developmental programs for local women.
A small training centre has been established as a part of vocational institution and training in Sewing, Candle making, Beautician courses is being instituted for tribal girls.
Personality Development: Regular personality development programs are organized for girls in the age group of 14 and above where the participants converge at Vatsalya Gram from all over the country and undergo a very rigorous and rich programme imparting various essential skills for improving their personality.

Here the women folk will be given training in hand and machine embroidery, fabric designing, batik, block and screen printing, glass bead work.

Ethnic Arts, Painting & Crafts

| The main focus here is on reviving and developing ethnic arts, crafts, home made stationary, gift items like rakhi, fancy cards, envelopes, soft toys and gift packaging.

Candle making
|
| The women are trained in making various types of candles and designing them in artistic forms.

Bakery Training
|
| Women will be trained in making various Bakery items like cakes, biscuits and bread etc. |

Food Preservation Course
|
| Training on making different types of Pickles, Murabbas, Squash, Jam and various other nutritive food items are in this module. |

Skin and beauty care Course
|
| Women are trained in the art of personal hygiene and making themselves beautiful through the regular Skin and beauty care course. |
