The Udyamika project is for the promotion of entrepreneurship among women in cottage industries. The project aims to build up the self-confidence, self-respect and self-support
of women and to create a permanent source of income for these women. The income-generating projects use local forest products. Here tribal girls and women get vocational training and are trained to develop skills in various crafts such as embroidery, glass bead works, candle making, bakery and food processing.
