Our Philosophy

Mother is the most supreme of all gifts and that is the gift that a child gets in Vatsalya Gram – a family and a sense of belonging. At Vatsalya Gram, we offer someone a shelter, but we do not believe in imposing conditions or shrinking their ambitions; that is why Vatsalya does not impose its ideas on any child. Each child is nurtured in a way that they become intellectuals. The safety of the family is provided to each of the child, and so are opportunities to grow and become good citizens of the country.







Just like Shri Krishna, who was born to Devaki, but was loved and brought up by Maa Yashoda, the children in Vatsalya Gram are no less fortunate. Vatsalya Gram is therefore the place where women who dedicate their life caring for children who have not been physically born to them, are revered and are considered perhaps even higher than the life giving biological mothers.
