Burgeoning population has created certain uncalled situations for us. A section of people comprising abandoned children of various ages, destitute women and impoverished men and women of old age are becoming an anathema for the society.

Desire to live, desire to love and the desire to be able to face a cruel hearted society is dormant in each one of these citizen of the country. They need shelter, they need that much lost love, and they need recognition. Philosophy is good to study but difficult to practise. But we at Vatsalya Gram have transformed philosophy into reality. We have created home for the homeless, provided food for the hungry and brought respectability for the unwanted.

Vatsalya is that sublime love of a mother for his child, a love which is selfless. A love that desires no return. VATSALYA parivar has become that nucleus. We have created a family or Parivar consisting 7 children, a mother, with her sister to help with the daily chores of the household and a grand old woman to act as the head of the family. Each family has been given a shelter to live. If you are curious then we must inform you here that there is no blood relation. Yet they live happily and look forward for a better future. We have succeeded in such experimentation and there are a few such like Parivars presently functioning happily in the Vatslaya Gram. There are schools, hospitals and there are trained professionals to help this movement grow.

Our limited effort has paid rich dividends so far. But we aim to reach higher. The need to effort relationship is overwhelmingly against us. We need your help, we need your assistance in every form bring such unwanted and undesired population to under the Vatslaya Gram movement to make them responsible citizens for the country.
